Evaluation Criteria:Generally speaking, priority will be given to projects that:
- Enhance the attractiveness and further develop the vision of the Downtown, as outlined in the City of North Bay's Official Plan
- Will result in a new or expanded business in the Downtown
- Create new, permanent jobs or full-time equivalents in the Downtown
- Include significant private-sector investment
- Include a proponent who is the property owner and possesses the demonstrated capacity to undertake the project
- Will occur at a building that has not been previously received DCIP funding
Who is Eligible?Only rate-paying organizations located within the North Bay Downtown Improvement Area (DIA) are eligible to apply for programs in the Downtown Community Improvement Plan.
